Llangennech Maths Project

weekly classes starting on Tuesday 17th January between 5:00 and 6:30pm

The Community Mathematics Project is a joint venture between Bryngwyn Comprehensive School and Llangennech Church and has been specifically designed to encourage and enable ten students to reach their fullest potential in the field of mathematics. This project offers students a unique opportunity to work in a small group situation to improve the confidence of each of the pupils in their mathematical ability and to give them strategies which, will also help them in other subjects. The Rev Dr John Plessis of Llangennech Church, who will deliver the programme, comes with significant experience in the teaching and learning of mathematics. The programme will initially be for the Spring Term and there will be no costs incurred by students for attending the course. The programme will link closely with the mathematics scheme of work in Bryngwyn School and therefore will reinforce and develop the work in progress.

LATE NEWS (16th January): There are still two places available on this course. If you want to participate, please turn up at the Centre on Thursday 17th at 5pm and register.
